INDE. Awards 2020 Nomination

We were extremely humbled to be nominated for 'The Prodigy' in this years' INDE. Awards.

Shortlisted by the INDE. experts and Media Editors from renowned publishing house Indesign Media, with only three other studios in the Indo-Pacific region; it's moments like this that we pinch ourselves.

The category we've been nominated in is known as ‘The Prodigy’. It acknowledges the innovation, bravery and forward-thinking of emerging Architecture and Design professionals.

The category requires nominees to show a progressive attitude toward architectural and design practice, to be bold and fearless in their practice, to colour outside the lines and to be distinctive in both process and outcome. We strive to work this way every day and feel honoured that this has been recognised by a prominent body in our industry.

We’re passionate about cultivating community awareness of design and how it can enrich all facets of rural and regional life so to be recognised in these awards is not just a proud moment for us, but also for the communities we have delivered projects in. It’s a motivator to keep working the way that we are.

We've been nominated alongside esteemed practices Flack Studio (Melbourne), Goy Architects (Singapore) and Rafael Miranti Architects (Jakarta), with the winner to be announced in August.

We recognise their ongoing connection to Country, land and waters that were never ceded and pay our respects to Elders, past, present and emerging. Our Reconciliation Action Plan was developed with Reconciliation Australia and guides us on our reconciliation journey and that of our clients, collaborators and community.
