PLAN RAND

Wiradjuri Country

Community Masterplanning

Continuing 2019

Regional Design Service has been engaged by the rural hamlet of Rand,  NSW, to develop a Masterplan for the town.

Historically, the engaged and enthusiastic townspeople of Rand have been very successful with writing and securing grants to improve and maintain its sporing facilities.  This dynamism is now being channelled into new ideas, such as RV parking and amenities, a Silo Art project, and the upgrading of the town's Hall (School of Arts building)

PLAN RAND will provide the community with a single, focused point-of-reference for both current and future projects,  ensure consistency of approach, aid prioritisation of projects, and importantly, provide a solid base for future grant applications.

We acknowledge the Bpangerang, Wiradjuri, Jaitmatang and Waveroo people on whose country we work and create.

We also acknowledge the traditional custodians throughout Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander lands where our projects are placed. We recognise their ongoing connection to country, land and waters that were never ceded and pay our respects to Elders, past, present and emerging.
