About The Event

Regional Design Service is excited to present the second in a series of talks and events discussing the Context, Process and Value of Design.

This highly admired design movement encapsulated fashion, product, interior, graphic, town planning and architectural design from approximately 1945 to 1975.

“MCM” has seen a growing resurgence in recent years and has in fact provided the inspiration for one of our most recent projects in Wahgunyah, on the NSW/Victoria border. As an insight into our design process we’ll explore how we went about designing this new home with reference to this style.

Enjoy a glass of All Saints wine or Prosecco on arrival (with fabulous cheeses) before the event begins (15:30 sharp). Feel free to stay on for drinks and conversation afterwards, overlooking world-class greens.

We acknowledge the Bangerang, Wiradjuri, Jaitmatang and Waveroo people on whose country we work and create.

We also acknowledge the traditional custodians throughout Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander lands where our projects are placed. We recognise their ongoing connection to country, land and waters that were never ceded and pay our respects to Elders, past, present and emerging.
