About The Event

Note: Due to a change in the artist's calendar, the event date has changed from June 11 to June 18,  2020.

This is the closing event for our successful first exhibition at Regional Design Service,  and presents a rare opportunity to meet the Artist and chat with her about her practise,  and enjoy (complimentary) mornng tea.

Connelly-Northey’s art practice is characterised by her western and indigenous heritage and the re-purposing of found colonial settler materials, such as metal, mesh and wire to create works associated with indigenous culture and traditional objects.

We acknowledge the Bangerang, Wiradjuri, Jaitmatang and Waveroo people on whose country we work and create.

We also acknowledge the traditional custodians throughout Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander lands where our projects are placed. We recognise their ongoing connection to country, land and waters that were never ceded and pay our respects to Elders, past, present and emerging.
