About The Event

This is the closing event for our successful first exhibition at Regional Design Service, and presents a rare opportunity to meet the Artist and chat with her about her practise, and enjoy (complimentary) mornng tea.
Connelly-Northey’s art practice is characterised by her western and indigenous heritage and the re-purposing of found colonial settler materials, such as metal, mesh and wire to create works associated with indigenous culture and traditional objects.

Born 1962, Swan Hill, Victoria.
Lives away from home to work on Waradgerie (Wiradjuri) Country,
New South Wales. Waradgerie people.
