DOCS

Bangerang Country

Hospitality

Completed 2018

Initially this project involved a simple design brief; to paint the exterior and interior of a newly purchased café. Following deeper discussions with the client, Regional Design Service resolved that their vision was to take it a step further, and revitalise the space into an appealing and functional new café.

Working to a very tight budget, the whole premises was painted, we re-lit the entire building, and refurnished using original iconic furniture items from both Kartell and MUUTO.

Clever co-ordination of trades and suppliers meant that DOCS was only closed for a week, and trade has increased significantly. The result was beneficial for both our clients and the people of Corowa, who now have a city-slick cafe of their own, right in the centre of town.
